The Proto Edition wears bespoke selvedge denim, woven on vintage looms from 100% organic cotton. Washed soft from day one, it keeps breaking in beautifully over time—with no crocking concerns. Like your favorite jeans, it feels at home however you style it.
Responsibly sourced American hardwood frames are finished with natural oil to bring out the grain. Natural vegetable-tanned leather grows richer with use. And plush down cushions have just enough foam to support the long sit.
We chose these materials for how they feel now and the character they’ll take on over time. The cushions relax a little as you live with them. Fluff when you feel like it, or let them settle in. The patina is yours.
